Mastering SQL Security with Security Explorer for SQL Server

We recently released Security Explorer for SQL Server which takes the search, management, backup and recovery of security capabilities to your Microsoft SQL Server!

This new version of Security Explorer allows you to manage the following SQL Server permissions:

  • SQL Server instances
  • Databases
  • Database roles
  • Stored procedures
  • Tables
  • Users
  • Views

In addition, SQL Server security can be backed up and restored separate from the data in the database.

Lastly, Security Explorer for SQL Server can search for insecure SQL logons by finding those that have blank passwords or passwords that match the user account name.

A fully-functional 30-day evaluation is available for download.
